It takes some time to activate your old nickname, just use another nickname for the time being.

The password is the password you have set in the C&C:Online and T3A:Online Password field.
Set a shorter password and test it out.

Btw, yesterday, after the hundredth unsuccessful attempt to log in, I went to settings in the game, then "network" . There are 2 ips in the block suggested by the game, I've just chosen another one. And, ta-da, now it works!
