Hey, I'm wondering how to play SEE online. I'm currently using T3A online and gameranger. How do I play with others? I own a legal game, if that helps

All players involved need to be on the same version of the game and the same version of the mod.

Use T3A:Online for all games and mods. =D But you're going to have to find someone to play with. I'll see if I can organise a small event on the weekend.

How to play with GameRanger:

So yeah, use T3A:Online. I don't think people are playing SEE though, so you'll have to see about organizing people...

Yeah - I was hoping I'd have more time to do stuff like that, get some of my SEE-DC work in progress maps tested.

My friend and I are trying to play special extended edition online/together. it seems t3a online makes you update to patch 1.08 which messes up/is not compatible with the mod. Please, any help on this? We play bfme2 on gameranger, but couldn't figure out how to start the mod from gameranger, only vanilla. We got t3a online just to play the mod but ran into the problem above. In the mod literally everything is thought of...really does make it more like the movies/balances/fixes the vanilla game. thanks very much for any help, we would die of happiness if we could play the mod together online or on a network/any way possible. Thanks Nazgul for your amazing mod.

We are on same version of game & mod but couldn't figure out how to start the mod from gameranger, only vanilla. And tried t3a online but apparently it required 1.08 which isn't compatible with the mod. Is there a way to play/start the mod shortcut from gameranger? Or with anything. If so, please inform! Thank you very much.

T3A:Online doesn't require 1.08, it works with all patches. There is no way to launch mods using Gameranger, I'm afraid.

You can play the mod on T3A:Online, just make sure that all players are on the right patch and have the mod, then use our launcher to login and everyone should be able to join the party.

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

Hello again,

Erm,

When I hit "Launch bfme" button on the t3a online launcher, it starts regular bfme2? Can you tell me please how to cause it to start SEE mod? Do I have to download and use one of those mod managers? I saw that written in a post but have never used or heard of such a device. Which should I get and where and how do I use it?

Aside from that, I'm back on 1.06 so mod runs, and t3a online launcher runs.

Thank you, guys. Eagerly awaiting a reply.

It should work as normal - you do not need a mod manager. SEE Beta 4.5 runs as a regular mod and will launch with the T3A:Online platform.

I have not played SEE Beta 4.5 in a long time, as most of my game time is spent testing my maps or models.
