You just cannot stop just once, humans are not as good as you think with self control and Foehn isnt exactly composed from morally clean people

1) Rashidi and his merry band of islamic terrorists, Rashidi is an oportunistic man that got burned hard and now he is in Foehn to save his sorry hide from consequences

2) Carwille and rest of USA and Allies, even if they are on the moral high ground in this universe, the temptation of Time machine would corrupt even those who just want to live in a free world, so they can play gods and play history like a flute so THEIR nations are on top and rest can get fucked for being "uncivilized, commies etc...".

3) Yunru could save her parents, stragle Yuri, Proselyte, Soviet Commander, prevent USSR existing and the ball is rolling and it would eventually turn in to fixing wrongs that have nothing to do with China and her, like neutering USA so they dont become a world wide power that profits of wars in the middle east that causes suffering to innocent people, this is a whack a mole and no man or woman on Earth can predict what will happen if they alter reality so much.

There is still no plausible reason for Foehn NOT TO use a Time-Machine AFTER they defeat Epsilon


Foehn's technology prevents global warming, vastly increases lifespans, provides much better living standards, etc.

They can design the Time-Machine to be only USED ONCE then make a pact to NEVER use Time-Travel again!

There would be just a few hundred million (out of several Billions) people left after Foehn destroys Epsilon. There is no future after that

 

Realism wise, few milions would be more than enough to restore humanity, there were fewer Humans in history than that, looking around the internet throws some numbers at me, but it seems 500 Humans are enough to prevent extinction AND to evade inbreeding problems.

So yes, if only Foehn Revolt were to remain, they could still repopulate Earth multiple times over. There would be also a hidden bonus playing to Foehn's cards and that because its composed from survivors from militiaries and the best of the best, this would serve as a seal of quality of its personal that they are likely to be the best of the best in terms of mental and physical health so nobody can taint the DNA integrity of the new humanity with crippling genetical defects. Such crisis will also remove everyone too reliant on health care...quite the cruel natural selection, but Humanity will carry on.

And no, you can fight me on this but i rather live in a world that still resembles our own, just being desolate and war torn, this wouldnt be anything new to humanity. The solace of low population would also mean there wouldn be any petty wars (maybe ?) and resources would be plentiful so no wars due to oil or uranium would happen for really long time.

Living post third tiberium war, once GDI get the TCN towers up...yeah, in that moment it would be better than in Mental Omega universe.... if we ignore the fact that the Scrin are out for revenge and want to eradicate humanity, this time with actual military.

And to remind you, Scrin can create blackholes and wormholes, and the miners were armed with such things. So living in Tiberium universe would carry some...existential dread.

The thing is, nobody knows how to make it, the only two humans on Earth that know how to do it are dead and i am pretty sure Siegfried made sure that time travel is never, ever used again given it pretty much started all of this and the... unexpected consequences could easily kickstart something else..... cue RA3 intro..

Or worse, it could create a reality where Tiberium lands on Earth and what follows would make the Mental Omega war look like a walk in the park in comparison to 1/2/3 Tiberium wars, most of humanity at brink of extinction, Earth almost inhabitable and also first contact with extra terrestials that are genocidal freaks with tech beyond even Foehns understanding.

Yunru and Rashidi probably dont even know about it existing, let alone that time travel is even possible and has been done without creating paradox. The extend of space time manipulation they know is from Paradox Engine, whatever has been left in Siegfrieds notes and Chronosphere tech in general.

Even if they could make it, it would be impossible to just use it once, people are just not that idealistic and would wage war over the time machine tech given anyone could use it to make their nation dominant. Even the ideologically good parts of the Revolt would devolve in to power grabs.

And the main reason, it would invalidate everything and would be extremely insulting to the player that all that they have done was for fuckall in the end...

Land Grab for AI ?

This is the most ludicrous thing ever, with full house AI's this map could be described as utter mayhem as AI is so clueless and has no clue what it suppose to do and deploys its MCV at the closest aviable spot, which creates a massive mosh pit of rainbow as their bases melt to one.

I thought the promise of it was like that starting positions are completely random, like you can play at any map and the starting positions are 100% random and you are forced either to settle down in a crappy spot on the map but start building up or rush somewhere else for more defensive spot.

Is it fun ? Yes, but Chocolate Disco seems to crash instantly on launch, so its my last missing gold star.

Synchronin for all Foehn

This is a really nice change, i always felt like Haihead didnt actually need this guy that much given they have plenty of ways of destroying defences. But Last Bastion would given they have NO long range anti building unit, with Mastodons, Ghariels and Godsbane having to replace the function, this will make breaking AI's bases much easier.

New support powers

Great, more annoyance that AI will constantly waste to annoy me the nanosecond the cooldown is gone, though i like that i can get the Paladins, an otherwise campaign unit and i actually like the concept that you can get powerful campaign units through support powers as this limits the number of them AND makes them feel unique and standout in battle.
