It's been a year, but I feel like playing RS for a bit. I've still got it installed so I just open up the installed and hit launch. I set up a nice little 1v1 game (it's been awhile, I want to start slow
) after picking my side, Allied legion, I hit start and the loading screen comes up.Loading...

Loading...
About 6 minutes later, the game finally starts.
Now, I KNOW it shouldn't take that long, since I used to play RS on a 7 year old machine, and it loaded in about 30 seconds. the only difference i can see is that I'm playing RA2 through the first decade now.
So my question is this: Is it common for Yuri's revenge running from The First Decade to load maps unbelievably slow? if so, how can I fix this?
