I was checking back here, and thought I might just make a thread specifically for when people check back here .

We may not be active any more, but I think it would be nice to have some place to basically 'sign in' upon each return, just to see who else has popped in and leave a little greeting.

So on a conversational note:
I was having a good laugh at some of my old replies in this area(specifically: http://forums.revora...-attention-swg/ though a couple others as well), all the little spelling errors or other fool-making of myself, to varying degrees. I'd say I'm probably only marginally better now days XD
Reading back over some of the latest Arscenia posts, i actually wasn't too bad at the RPing, though room for improvement is definitely there.

Anyway, hows it been going for you guys (if indeed you see this?). When you look back on some of the things here, what do you think of it all?



Oh, and I think I finally figured out what would have made more freeform styles work better here, (even if this insight comes a little late) :
A stat system of some sort, even if it's something as simple as 'power' being the only stat to keep it easy to understand. That way you'd have motivation for self-development, and an easy stick to measure each other up against when it comes to competitions, making the freeform structures work out better than they did around here normally.
You'd then gain points for roleplaying (bonuses for quality).
