The jammer station is a bit useless in mp-games, but wouldn't it just be awsome if you could launch a distortion missile from the jammer station that would jam every radar from all sides for a minute or so? During this "blackout" moving large unit groups and launcing offensives would be much, much harder to effectively counter. And if properly prepared assaults were launched during the "blackout" your enemy would be too confused to stop you from reaching victory. It would also suit stealths style well, would it not? :rolleyes:

I have downloaded and tried contra 006 and so far, it has been pretty darn awsome! :p
I love the new efects, skins and unit voices. Now the game is even more overkill than before.

But still it has been a slight disappointment because of two things:
1. The speed is waaaaaaaay too fast!!!! It was already a bit too fast in contra 005 but now it's even faster. :crazed:
The speed really needs to be reduced or at least, changeable in multiplayer games.

2. The fixed money is a bit annoying. 10k to humans and 20k to AI? It would have been nice if there would have been options for a bit higher starting funds. Personally, I can easily manage with just 10k but my friend who plays contra too really hates to play with so little starting funds.

But I have to say, if you could/would fix these, conra 006 would be perfect. :p

Here are some suggestions:
1.Infantry gen. is logically mostly infantry using, but you sometimes just can't help thinking that he needs some kind of a supporting tank to assist and draw enemys fire on ambitious assaults. How about giving him an artillery/tank supporting unit, that would have the range of a regular tank and had to deploy before shooting? It could be a low and long unit that would have throngs of missile launchers hidden under thick plates on its top. When deployed, it would start fireing small missiles at great speed towards its target (perhaps the same missiles that the tank hunter has?). The missiles could target both air and ground units, but when used on ground units its missiles would be somewhat inaccurate and scatter around the target. The missiles would be most effective against tanks and helicopters, but weak against infantry, other individual targets, fast ground units and fast planes. If possiable, the missiles would also lock on to large ground targets, sutch as emperors, immolators, iron fists, etc. but only to large ground targets and aircraft. The unit would be rahter slow to turn but would move as fast as minigunners.
It would be called Swarm lord.

2.Couldn't infantry gen. have a fourth level infantry drop that would be a bit like with cybers commando call? It would be just a single plane that would drop several special units untrainable from barracks or other buildings. The units would have good armouring and a mobile gauss gun (not much weaker than the fixed one with tank gen.), making them a grave threat to any short-ranged ground unit. They could also place TNT charges and become invisiable while standing still. They could target air units as well, but the gauss cannons would be really weak against them.
They could be called elite paratroopers (how original eh?) or something.

3.Couldn't the generals powers be added to the contra homesite, too? Or at least, some of them?

4.I'm bringing this up for the second time, but couln't the nuke general have a flack tank instead of a gattling tank? Now it would be even more useful for it would be more effective at defending the base against airunits.

5.Since SW general is a base builder, you don't always bother to scout the terrains to find out about your enemys movements, especially if you'r against stealth finding its base is rather annoying if you don't/can't use scouting units to find it (against human players playing with stealth, they can move their bases away from the starting place). So how about at fift rank you could build a satellite link to one of your command centres that would seem like a long antenna or a larger satellite dish. The link would be in contact with a satellite named Odyssey and call it to observe the battlefield. It would reveal all of the map completely and only hidden units would not be seen. The satellite would also be able to scan the battlefield like the radar scan for hidden units. The satellite would remain over the battlefield as long until the command centre with the satellite uplink is destroyed.

How about these suggestions this time? Any better than earlier? :shiftee:
