As suggested here in the guide, if I were you I would move (drag and drop etc, dont copy/paste) that SEE folder to the root of C:

do that and then look at the link above and check the Target and Start In properties of the dekstop shortcut.

your getting close hang in there.

did you make any changes to the bfme2 installation other than patching to 1.06 ?


Ok i have done as you have instructed however there has been no change in the program i still get the same error message as shown in the above comment, there have been no changes to the BFME2 installation as i know of, however i have got alot of custom maps made by other players.

Ok i put the SEE folder in C:\Documents and Settings\Conor Silk\Application Data\My Battle for Middle-earth™ II Files is that right.

I have a suggestion would custom made maps affect the MOD, could that stop me from using it.

Are you using ring heroes or cah's?

read back thru all the install info pinned on this subforum

What do you mean i can't even get onto the MOD to find this information.

Thx alot for your help, great work on the MOD by the way, my friend has it and it looks great. I'm hoping to get it working.
