Last update on the miners

New Power - Ore Vein

Create an Ore vein , which miners can enter to generate resources 

it can Collapse, damaging nearby units , when they pass over an activate it

Copy paste , change is the way to mod

create an exact copy of an existing fortress , rename objects 

the fortress is usually 2 objects , a main building and plots 

then using  WB , create a base file , similar to other base file fortresses 

then work on the Art parameters of the object , which will need appropriate models and some build up anim at least

Most AI are not random coding , that is , the set path cannot be diverted 

The best advice , ( unless there are scripts which allow for Randon number generation ) , is the set Maps which use the specific faction

eg. map Rivendale give AI the Upgrade_Rivendale which allows for Rivendale faction 

 

perhaps there are script randomness , such as choose a number from 1 to 3 , if 2 then give upgrade_Rivendale , but I don’t know much scripting in WB , and I don’t have PC to check
