The problem seems to have been resolved!
Send delay alone did not fix the problem.
I downloaded genpatcher and applied all fixes and it still didn't work. Then I turned on the Network optimizations in genpatcher, restarted and THEN it finally worked.
My only remaining question (which might be a question for legionnaire) is what settings exactly have been changed to my network? There was a warning about possibly increasing vulnerability, but I searched through my firewall and router settings but could not figure out what has changed. Obviously I don't want to be more vulnerable to threats just to play zh haha.
Thanks again for the help and I will let you know if anything changes or if it stops working again.
