Experienced BFME1 Scripter looking for work

Hello everyone out there!

I am an experienced map scripter who would be happy to help anyone who wants some interesting an interactive maps for a mod. I can also do some basic and medium level stuff with map.ini, and I am learning new things all the time.

I am currently making a single-player mission, so when that is finished, you will be able to look at that to see what I am capable of.

If you pick me to work with you on a mod, then you will not regret it. You will certainly not be wasting your time. Using scripts and map.ini, I am capable of making almost anything happen in the game.

Making Orthanc as Citadel

I'm trying to make a single player map where you have to defend the fortress from Mordor. However, I don't want a camp/outpost inside the fortress, so I tried to make the Orthanc as my citadel. I have named it BASE_FLAG_1 and given it to Player_1/teamPlayer_1 and put the waypoint: Player_1_Start on top of it. But it does not work :( .

Is there a script that I have to create to make this work, or something in map.ini that I have to do?

20/20 vision by Ronnie Milsap

Does anybody know where I can listen to the song 20/20 vision by Ronnie Milsap? It is for my dad, he never shuts up about how sucha great song it is and he can't find it anywhere. I have tried looking on YouTube and Yahoo! Music and many other music sites but I cannot find it anywhere :(

There are references to it on loads of different websites, but none actually let you listen to it. There is one website where you can listen to every song he ever wrote...apart from 20/20 vision.

Please help me, my dad is driving me nuts. :p

How to change the textures in bfme1

How can I change the textures of units and buildings for BFME1? Is this what will make them look different? If it is not then can you tell me how to make units and structures look different?

Hi Everyone,

How does everyone think that 'armageddon' (end of the world) is going to happen. Nostradamus predicted that the apocalypse in 2012 so we need to be prepared. I personally think that the earth will get so hot (global warming) that it will just shrivel up and burst into flames. If that's the case we need to coat ourselves in fireproof suits.

But there are many other possibilities:

  • Extreme warfare
  • Meteroites (it eliminated the dinosaurs, why not the human race)
  • And just an unatural, completely random explosion


So, what do you think? Anything could happen really, I suppose even an alien invasion is possible, but that's unlikely.
