You guys who are comming back, feel free to enjoy your stay with us a little longer :)

Revora only was able to be where it is now, because of the passion and contribution of everyone to this amazing community!

Another returning Revora person here. I kinda forgot about this place for a long time as I got busy with RL and work, but tonight I started thinking about what had happened to Revora and if it was still around because I remember it was such a big thing, and to my surprise it was so I decided to come back even though I haven't really modded in a while. Why? Because as a teen Origin/Revora have been a big part of my social life online, it was probably the first major online community I had joined, an experience I'll never forget. I am very happy to see Revora has grown over the years to include more websites and services. Happy 10, Revora!

Hi I'm DrPietro. I'm a returning member of this community. I joined way back in 2003 a little bit after Origin was founded. Back then I think Detail and Daz were Network Leaders. I was just starting with 3D level design for HL1 and had done numerous 2D level designs for SNES-type RPG games. I was only a baby modder and probably an immature kid, no where near the skill/experience of other members at the time, nor was I anyone popular, but I enjoyed the community so much it became apart of my early teen years. I remember sitting at the computer in electronics class chatting away on the Origin forums. But for whatever reason I last logged into Revora on August 2008. So tonight I was sitting at my computer and I starting thinking whatever happened to Origin/Revora. After searching origin network (I had forgotten about Revora) and not coming up with anything, I found Revora on some random website and was surprised but glad to find it was still operating. Happy 10th anniversary by the way.

I hadn't done much modding since I left. I did a few MP CS:S maps under Source but that was it. I was getting more into server administration at the time and I also started working as a PC repair tech, and was involved in other games etc. Right now I'm 26 and a self-employed tech currently studying Information Security to become a C|EH. I also operate a powerful linux server on the fringe of the internet in my spare time. At this point in my life I don't foresee becoming a professional mapper or anything, but it's still a passion of mine and I'd very much like to return to it as a hobby and return to this awesome community.
