Here another idea that could fit to any subfraction:
Decoy Tank
Cost: 150
Primary: N/A
Secondary: N/A
Use: Decoy
Health: Virtully nothing
Speed: depends on the real thing
Build Speed: fast
Special: Randomly create a "decoy tank" depending on your tech level
Security is not all about super modern technology and powerful weapons. The Russian/US Army is being equipped with dummies and decoys.
Even from a distance of only 50 metres, fake military hardware looks exactly like the real thing and it’s effectively used on battlefield positions and to protect Russian/US strategic installations from the eagle eye of surveillance satellites.
Their main task is to distract attention and protect real combat units from strikes.
These Tanks look & move like the real thing, but cost nearly nothing compared to the "real" thing.
Drawback: Will get destroyed instantly if fired at them (at least from non-infantry units)
Or better for coding: make the "decoy Tank" work the same way as the Spy. Decoy Tank has its own look and speed. And if you select one of your own units (vehicles) it will change its appereance to the selected vehicle.
This could bring some fun if you rush a base with some decoy APCs and one "real" thread. Could also be funny for some distraction movements/attacks or if the opponent is going to destroy your precious tanks with his aircraft.

Suggestion For The Scorpion Cell : A new Alternative Light AA-Vehicle/walker (Epsilone Gatling Tank Counter Part) : The Land Stalker Or Stalker :
-Primary : Uses AA Missiles Vs Aircrafts.
-Secondary : Uses an HMG Vs Infantry.
-Slower Than the Gatling Tank.
-More Hit Points Than The Gatling Tank (25-50).
-Increase The line of sight by 1 point.
The units pic looks extremly cool!
I hope it finds their way somehow into the new mod

"Alpha Force" Commando
Price Tag: 900 - 1200
Primary Weapon: "Vss Vintorez" Silenced Sniper/Assault Gun - Kills Infantry easily just like the US Commando.
Sek. Weapon: Can use the Sniper feature of his gun to shoot drivers out of their "light" vehicles. For that he needs a little time for aiming. During that time he cannot move and is open to attacks
Movement Speed: fast, just as fast as an engineer
Special: Due to his special training he is an expert in camo. Therefore he is "invisible" when not moving. When moving or firering he is visible just like any other unit.
Story:
Alpha Group has access to Russian and foreign modern high end equipment.
Their primary function is to carry out urban counter-terrorist missions under the direct control of their commanding officer "Boris" However, little is publicly known and other plausible missions would include a variety of paramilitary and/or covert operations
"Scalar" Experimental Tank
Price Tag: 2000 - 2500
Primary Weapon: "Scalar" Beam. In short: a terrible shockwave beam that rips everything apart.
Movement Speed: slow
Special: Due to the experimental stage and the unstable Scalar Technology a destroyed tank explodes with high emmiting radiation
damaging everything in a medium radius around him
Story:
Scalar beam weapons have been already invented in 1904 by the genius Nicola Tesla
Since he died in 1943, the Russians have secretly researched and worked on his beam weapons which now in their experimental stage finally can be used on the battlefield. A beam, hotter than the sun, vaporizing every living creature, shattering every rock into plasma, obliterating every construction. Due to the experimental stage this weapon is very instable and can bring harm even to its owner.
