Risen from the previous 2 months of real life; I finally have returned to business again, yay! With good news, of course; I've already been accepted into a university which spares me from a lot of work that could've emerged. That's not important now, let's get into the updates.

This is NATO's logo I made 5 minutes ago


Why has USA been changed to NATO? Well, that's according to the mod's storyline in the campaign; shorten as followed: The plots after PLA seized control back from the GLA in most parts of Europe. Peace lasted not long before another Cold War broke out between USA and China. A newly formed Chinese Socialist-party was brought into the ruling of the country with a promise of leading the country into a greater age. With the escalation, NATO assembled once again to deal with the newly emerged threat.

Something like that lol.

This is NATO "Bradley" IFV. This is just another typical Bradley IFV, nothing specific about it. And here is Wikipedia; manufactured by BAE Systems Land and Armaments, formerly United Defense. It was named after U.S. General Omar Bradley.

This is NATO "Stormer" APC. An support vehicle, used for various strategies depending on the situation and the decision of the commander to utilized it.

Planned features are as followed:

-Normal configuration, armed with Starstreak HVM
-Armed with 25 mm cannon
-Engineering configuration
-Ambulance configuration
-Mine layering configuration
-Armed 81 mm or 120 mm mortar

This is PLA Adv. ECM Tank. An "Electronic Counter Measures Tank", has the role of supporting unit in the PLA forces, capable of jamming small missiles and disabling enemy vehicles.

The differences between this Adv. version and the normal one, are that this Adv. version has a wider range of missile jamming and a longer range of vehicle disability.

Armour: Meduim Plate
Speed: Medium

Well, the last good news would be about how I've done these; with a help from TheHunter649, I'm able to create my own models and skins from now. Big thanks to him! Cheers :D

The first update of 2013 and might be the last as well for the moment as for I'm not sure whether I'll have the time or not. But, here are those which I'd like to show you guys.

This is USA Humvee. Well, what's the fucking difference from the original one? The answer is this one is just a variation built of a normal Humvee. The laser version will also be available as well, you can't see it since I haven't done it. Are there be more variations to come? I have no clue. That depends on my enthusiasm.

Armour: Standard Humvee Plate

This is USA Paladin Howitzer. Well, in the last Paladin Tank related update, it was replaced by Abrams Tank so your argument is invalid. Long story short, this is a self-propelled howitzer edited from vanilla Paladin.

Side: Either General Granger or General Alexander

Weapon: 155 mm Howitzer
Armour: Medium Plate
Speed: Medium
Upgrade: Drones, Composite Armour, Advanced Training

This is USA "Titan" Mk.I Prototype Tank. A experimental heavy tank, produced for heavy fire power and heavy defensive position, is use to shake-down the uproar of the new PLA forces. There are also EMP Missiles variation and Railgun variation for General Alexander and General Townes.

Clip: 8 Anti-tank Missiles
Size: Around Emperor Tank (Estimated)
Weapon: Unique Cannon, Anti-tank Missiles Pot, Machine Gun
Armour: Heavy Plate
Speed: Slow

This is USA Laser Comanche. Nothing specific here, this is just a rebuild to replace the one in the latest release.

Side: General Townes
Weapon: Vulcan, Double-Laser Battery
Armour: Standard Comanche Plate
Speed: Fast
Upgrade: Advanced Training, Countermeasures

This is USA Upgradable Minesweeper. Only specific tanks could be upgraded with this thing due to balancing and game engine limitation.

Function: Sweep mines, prevent the owner from mine damages

The difference between these two variations would be health and damage resistance since it can be damaged from bombs and shit. As for the flags, there are only a few things I could implement on them. As the followings are the possible function of them flags:
-Area Revealer
-Area-Healing Zone
-Auto Supply Generating Zone
-Reduce Cost of Units, Buildings, etc.
And yes, I welcome suggests other than these and flag conquest if it's possible to be done. Feel free.

After being gone for like two months or so, I've actually got a free time to do renders and stuff for this project. I did what I could for the meantime and it's not much.

Right now, I already have list of "what to do" written down so I should know what I'll be doing. However, the future updates might not be as frequent as before since I'm still bound to the university stuff. So basically, I've done with the prequel test stuff but I still don't know if I've actually made it or not until the end of December this year. If I've made it, I'll be able to work on the mod in full capacity as before. So, pray me for succeeding in entering a university, I'll appreciate it a lot.

Now, enough of that. Let's get to the main stream.

This is PLA "Hong" Dragon Tank. So familiar? Well, yes, it's fuck is. This is a model made by Creator and DCesarec currently use in Contra mod. But why is it here? That is easy, we've made a deal.

According to Wikipedia, "Hong" is a two-headed dragon in Chinese mythology regardless of the rainbow part.

Weapon: Dual Flame Throwers
Armour: Heavy & Fire-proof Plate
Speed: Medium
Upgrade: Black Napalm, Composite Armour
Ability: Blazing flame explosion when destroyed, create firestorm eventually when attacking in a group of more than 3 tanks.

This is PLA Armoured Gattling. Fires at its normal rate but has furthermore armour reinforcing and can be out run by its slow turning and pitching rate. Nevertheless, it's an excellent defense against frontal attacks, giving Tao ability to establish a safer base.

This is PLA Imperator Tank. It has a modified overlord chassis and tracks. This gives it protection against light armour piecing weapons and allows it to travel in rough terrains such as rivers.

This is PLA Gattling Tank. Like other designs of the Gattling Tanks, it shares the same features and details apart from its little reinforced turret and its slow turning rate.

This is PLA Ravager Tank. Basically, this tank is a mobile missiles launcher based on Battle Master's chassis. This gives it a maneuver speed and medium protection against minor attacks, increasing its battlefield survival rate. Also, this gives it the speed to mobile and fire at enemies, providing it with attack and move combat style, suits with the mobile force of tanks like General Kwai's.

Weapon: Tactical Missiles (Non-deploying)

This is PLA Scud Storm. Like GLA's, it shares the same features and abilities, only its architecture that has been altered to suits Chinese art.

Well, one month has passed and this is kind of the end of my holiday duration. So, here is the deal, first of all, I decided that there won't be a public beta but it's to be released once it's done. Now, things change; I've decided to release a public beta. Good news enough?

Why exactly? Because I have no idea when I'm going to have the time to touch this project again, with the incoming university stuff, other projects stuff and perhaps "national service, perhaps. I'll cut the talk here.

Here's a quick detail of the beta:

1. Now we've got a working mod launcher, fully compatible with other mods. This is still a beta built version so there might be some bugs or glitches. Take a quick preview at our latest built.

As you can see, you can set your screen resolution here as well as full screen or windowed mode. Also, bloom, reflection, depth of field, props and screen definition options are now available. The mod's world builder is yet also available for usage for a mapper or a modder.

2. Sum of the mainly old updates such as:
-3D visual light rays with animation in game as if it's from C&C3.

-Dynamic locomotion surface effects depending on what type of terrain your units are which includes water, dirt, snow for example.

Variety Avengers? Well, not so vary if you ask me. Now, there are only the rocket one and the laser one availble.

J-20? This replaced Boss General's Mig, armed with 4 napalm missiles, capable on creating a quicker firestorm.

Variety Dragon Tanks? Now, there are Jiaolong Dragon as the picture above for Tank General, Raging Dragon for Infantry General and the normal one for vanilla China and Boss General. Nuke General? Forgot him, I do not, his is special because he don't use Dragon Tank anymore since he has his new toy, the Devastator.

Variety Overlords? Now, there are Nuke version of the Overlord, the good old emperor and the normal one available.

Variety Gattlings? Oh, each sub faction has its own style except Nuke General, for now. You mean the gattling canon or the gattling tank? I mean both.

What about GLA? They don't have many new units but they do have the Katyusha and the Elite Quad which are both for Prince Kassad. The new units will be featured in a later version.

You may ask, what about the other units you promised? The answer is that they'll be featured in the patch of this beta. Why? Because I ran out of time. The details of the "new" units will be revealed soon after I got the time to work on them.

4. A new feature just have been implemented, weapon against garrison which cause damage to who ever nears the building. This applied to vanilla Toxin and Flame weapons, see the screenies.

5. What else you should know about this beta? There are so many that I'm starting to lack the strength to write any further. Mi(a)nor bugs which haven't been solved yet such? AI stupidity, enemy infantry running towards a hulk and enter it, lag-ness, etc.

Also, the voices, sounds, cameos and descriptions are quite done yet. Even so, there will be errors and mismatch and stuff going on such units using the same voice, crappy cameos and a funny description and so on.

Nope, not going to write anymore. The day of release should be within a day or two or this week or two more weeks. If there is no emergency issues, you'll get the beta in no time.
