I have created a new Thompson SMG model for the game.

I have been trying to add a new model that appears in the inventory
I converted GIF to GRL successfully and put the GRL in the INTERFAZ folder.
I gave it a new name "Cmetralla.GRL"
And then in .MIS file I changed ".GFX Cmetrall" to ".GFX Cmetralla"
But when I load the mission the game crashes

I found that if I named the GRL to "Cmetrall" and replaces the MP40 model, the game works fine and my new model appears fine in the inventory
But I don't want to replace existing models.

Can someone help me ?

Since many people have been asking how to play commandos 2 online, I have decided to make a detailed guide:
(I use tunngle to play online, I have been playing online with it for over 1 year)

A. Install Commandos 2: Men of Courage v1.20 with your game CD

B. Download and install Commandos 2: Destination Paris v1.41

You must download ALL 4 and install them in sequence:
1. Download the mod (v1.40)
2. Commandos 3 Mission Pack
3. Download the update (v1.41)
4. (TR3) Dark Territory V4

C. Download and install the latest version of TUNNGLE:

Register online and create a tunngle account

D. Start tunngle.exe, sign in and join the Commandos 2 room
(There is a search box in the left upper corner, type "Commandos 2" and press enter)

E. Start Commandos 2: Destination Paris
1. Click "MULTIPLAYER"
2. Select your profile name
3. Select "TCP/IP(LAN)"
4. To host a game, click "Create" and choose a mission
5. To join a game, click "Join"

Me (senderj) and my partner (extrano1955) are frequently on tunngle, so find us there if you want a game

FAQ

Q: I cannot see any servers, what should I do?
A. First make sure someone in the room is hosting a game.
You should check your firewall settings and set the following as exceptions:
1. Comm2.exe (in Commandos folder)
2. Tunngle.exe (in Tunngle folder)
3. Tnglctrl.exe (in Tunngle folder)
Or, you could simply turn off your firewall.

Q: I can see a server, but when I try to join, it says "error in connection"
A: First make sure you and the host have the same game version (1.00/1.20/1.40/1.41)
Then try to disable uPnP in your router settings.
If that still doesn't work, you need to open ports (2300-2400, 11155, 47624) in your router.
