i am curious, he mentions he cracked it? i thought that would disable the possibility for players to play together? as far as i remember the cracked versions changed game versions everytime you started the game?

The folder is hidden. You need to make it visible, that might be obvious to some, but i am sure someone made that mistake.

 

In the folder window in the top there are some options to change visibility.
