Is there no procedure in place for a situation like this? Where the original creator has departed or such but more work has been done on his mod by those on the project team or such? Maybe if you contacted those in charge of Moddb they would have some solution.

So no chance what has been completed up to this point might be released as a Version 0.92 or such?

Sorry, sorry, I let my emotions get the better of me with my prior post, just rather sad. In your honest opinion, what percentile chance do you think there is that Pendalose and your work shall reach completion at some point in the future? As mentioned most often when I have seen a mod get put on the back burner or such.....it dies, and I would truly hate for that to happen to such a fun and varied modification of Zero Hour, even in it's incomplete state it puts Contra to shame. In your estimate do you think that it's death is likely?

If only you had simply continued from where Pendelose had left off, his 0.90 release seemed like it was fairly close to completion after all. If you had finished that rather than trying to rework a fair amount of it, perhaps it would be done now.
Ces't la vie, I suppose I am just bitter I shall never be able to play the finished Remix Escalation (Most often when a modder puts a mod "on the back burner" it never reaches completion, I have seen it many times. Quite unfortunate it happened to this one.

And thus it ends, the greatest single mod for Zero Hour never reaches it's completion, taking elements from Contra and then further improving it, making each general even more unique and interesting, I have to say I shall miss this, if only Contra had the sheer creativity Remix does.....or did.
Wherever you are, thanks for the good run Pendelose, it would have been nice if it had been completed, but you gave us something nice all the same.
And thanks ApOcOlYpS, you made a effort at least, which is more than most could say, too bad what's been finished as of yet cannot be released.....ces't la vie.
