I just set the launcher to run in compatibility mode or xp service pack 2 and it works like a charm!

Also just out of curiosity would it be possible to just install the mods files to the game directory instead of the appdata area? Because I'm not really interested in running more than one mod on the game anyways.

This hasn't happened yet with the main game, but it has in the past, however not since the installer version came out. Would it be helpful if i sent you a screenshot of it?

So I'm having problems running the world builder from the launcher, every time I try I get an exception access violation.
