Don't know if this is the right place to ask...

I have C&C The First Decade installed, clean install, fully patched, working fine.

I have Contra downloaded file is 'Contra008Beta.rar'. When I unpack it I get:

Am I missing files or something? I have no installer or anything. My questions are:

1) Does this mod work in single player skirmish against the computer?

2) Should there be an installer?

3) I put the files where it says to for the manual install, but how do I use this mod? How do I use any mods that hve '.big' files?

I am confused, any help appreciated.
