Hmm, interesting. I do not know the answer.

 

Are you sure it is not the windows players fault? Are you sure they have the exact same installation?

Is this happening for BFME1 and BFME2?

 

If you can go online and play, then the launcher should work fine..

Yes, sure.

 

You can play LAN games via Multiplayer menu -> Network in-game.

You may have a problem with your antivir.

 

But before you disable that you should try to run the launcher rightclick-> as administrator.
