Yes. It's funny, what more can I say? Incidentally, the cartoons on this site are rather good too.
Yeh, you can tell I have nothing to do with my evenings.

Writing, drawing, reading. As a Wiccan I'm interested in pagan beliefs and mythology, and most anything nature-based. I also like horses (I own two, and work with Shire horses). Oh yes ... and I ADORE metal music. :)

Animal Testing
01 July 2005 - 08:16 PM
I'm just curious as to what people's views are on this; I live in the same area as and unfortunetly keep my horses a stone's throw away from Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS), which for those who don't know is a major animal testing company. Needless to say, this means I'm often affected by the demonstrations held by so-called animal rights activists (I say so-called because my pony and I ended up in a ditch when forced off the road by a van load of them, and another group frightened my horses so much they sent them both through an electric fence. None of them stopped to help).
At any rate, The Independent today had an article showing how Shac (Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty) are targeting more companies and shareholders who have even the most minimal connection with HLS. I can't describe to you how wrong I think this is, as I don't see how its helping the animals by cutting off ties with banks, insurance agencies, equipment loaners etc. And targeting people such as Nightfrieght (a courier firm) is just ... insane, frankly.
I don't want this to escalate into a flame war, lol, especially since I'm for animal testing, but if people do have some valid points they want to put forward I'd like to hear them (whatever your opinion may be).

Art Sites
14 June 2005 - 06:03 PM
Hope this is the right place to post - I'm looking for a new website to keep my artwork on, was wondering if anyone knew any good ones? I'm currently on Side 7, and have been for about 4 years ... but it was hacked a month ago and is still acting up, despite being fixed, and the updates from other artists are coming few and far between. I don't wanna leave because it's an excellent site and has helped me improve no end, but there's just nothing more I can do with it unless it returns to its former self.
Please don't recommend Elfwood (I found it to be rather pompous in tone, lol, and it won't hold most of my work anyway) or Deviantart (final choice if I can't find anything else and if Side 7 really goes downhill ... the uploading and navigatin' kinda irritates me).
So if anyone knows a site that's neither of the above and not furry based (lol) ... I'd really appreciate it!

Poser people (...and a sword)
09 June 2005 - 04:06 PM
Found an obscure folder on my computer where I'd saved all my 3D work ... please be nice, most of this is at least three years old. Hm. Just a few images, see what you think ... won't be able to alter these 'cause of the age (Poser files long since lost), but if you've got any suggestions of how to redo scenes/new ones to be done...? Cheers!
Stage two of a CD cover I made for a competition ... I did win it, but then I was the only person who entered so it wasn't exactly hard. XD
Eep ... before I got hold of the "Vicki" Poser model, which is a lot better for customisin' etc. The two in the foreground were characters of mine (demon and angel) and the girl in the background is the same as appears on the CD cover.
The angel's sword, Tangnefedd. I can't remember what the name means anymore, d'oh.
