Nice work, but some things I noticed:

 

I'd think that the pre-WWIII USSR's borders would be very similar to OTL's USSR; it's hard to imagine the USSR being able to invade the US without at least Ukraine, Belarus, and Central Asia under its direct control. Perhaps the Allies thought it would be too difficult to break up the USSR after Stalin's defeat and were content to leave it under new leadership, somewhat like Germany after WWI. Germany's borders might be closer to the pre-WWII borders as well, no reason to why they'd be like in OTL.

 

I know that MO had a mission where North and South Korea are separate and hostile to each other, but that mission might make more sense if it was the (unified)Korean/Red Chinese border.

Go to the compatibility options of gamemd.exe and select 16-bit color mode. Also run as administrator.

 

I had the same problem the guy you were responding to did, and did this to try to fix it. Unfortunately the game just doesn't launch anymore (clicking the launch game button does nothing) and doesn't give an error message this time.

As of yesterday Mental Omega has been crashing on game launch (when launching a game from the launcher/set up). It didn't used to do this until recently which leaves me at a loss as to what the problem exactly is. From the Syringe log it appears to be some kind of problem with the cncnet.dll

Lately been having problem launching games in Mental Omega. It didn't used to have this problem until I tried out the game again yesterday.
