Seems far to complicated. Is there a way to make them unable to eject except when they are on the ground?

Sorry for the necro-post, but I just happend across this topic, and recently worked out how to use the -mod command. You need the .big file with the name of your mod in <blah>/My Documents/Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data/

The command line needs -mod <.big name> adding. And thats it.

all pc games engines based on directx tech today so grafhic angines arnt so diffrent one from the other.
i expect the next generation of pc games using xna (used in xbox) technology.

That has alot to do with the fact that DIRECT X IS THE STANDARD INTERFACE BETWEEN GRAPHICS CARDS AND THE ENGINE.

If they did it another way they would have to allow for each individual graphics card, or at the least, each manufacturer.

and that's called a mod, thank you

If the only thing they keep is the game engine, no other code, or information from the .big files at all, is it still a mod. Really?

Was half-life not built from another engine? (correct me if I'm wrong), but you dont call that a mod do you?

Also, how can you make it so that a) it can only let units out when its on the ground and b) touch down to let units out before continuing on. Sort of like the chinook, but it would need to keep moving.
