Are you disagree about the Resheph that has chemical balls for SC?

It sounds like a cool idea actually.

Then again, not every map has availability for naval units so this idea won't be utilized properly unless the Plague Splatter becomes amphibious.

Cue people complaining its OP because you can't shoot down the chemical balls AND they deal splash damage.

Giving a Side-Specific Resheph is just stupid as now you'll have a cloned entry of it in the Tabs.

I did not say to add a Side-Specific Resheph. Even if I did, it would be pointless since not every map has availability for naval units like I said earlier.

But, reading back to Kivz's original post about it, the Resheph will be replaced with a similar unit, with the property to launch chemical balls. Assuming that it has the same properties as the Resheph, the chemical balls can be shot down similar to the original energy ball. I'm not sure what will happen when the chemical ball gets shot though. I'm not saying that it still should be added though.

But if you're talking about the amphibous Plague Splatter, it's less likely that actual units from the Suggestions will come true from what I've read and only the gimmick behind the unit are most likely going to be used, so you won't see people complaining about a swarm of fragile Plague Splatters contaminating their base. If it did though, flying units can take them out in seconds due to its REALLY light armor.

That's why there's Libra clones for the 'hero-killer' units. Epsilon only though.

What if we further differentiate the sub factions by giving each of them a unique trait? like a unique specialty for example:

Pacific Front : Robotics - $100 cheaper robot tanks ($600 -> $500)

United States: Special Forces -  $50 cheaper Navy Seals ($650 -> $600)

Euro Alliance: ???

China: Mass infantry - Train 2x Conscript (two comes out barracks, 1 free conscript)

...etc

Thoughts?

An extra Conscript would be a pain if you're on an assault against China in the early phases of the game. They can be quite dangerous when garrisoned and about 20 of them (which in this case will cost only about 1k?) can wipe out Soviet and Allied ore miners fairly quickly if a map is small. If a map is big, might as well make 40. Dogs rushing will most likely be useless if the AI or player is aware. Adding a few Flak Troopers into the squad wouldn't hurt and cost much too.

In short, Conscript rush and defense advantage for China.

Adding more types of ore miners complicates everything. Have you even imagined how this would work out in-game?

Uniqueness is good, but too much of the good stuff kills.
