You can try to install the patches one by one 

Download and install patch 1.03 --> http://www.the3rdage...tem-364?addview

Download and install patch 1.05 --> http://www.the3rdage...tem-779?addview

Download and install patch 1.06 --> http://www.the3rdage.net/download-1767

Download and install the T3a Client --> http://online.the3rd...BFME1_1.5.3.msi

 

If you want to have big zoom out, install this as well --> http://www.the3rdage...tem-788?addview

The 1.03 link works, but the page it links you to had a dead download link.

I've posted direct links quite often here in the forum, just search for them. Google will probably also provide you with direct links.

You will need the original game, and then patch 1.03, 1.05 and 1.06, that's all.

The 1.03 patch from the installer never downloaded for me, and the previous links in this thread are dead.

you can find it online though.

Hey, guys. I'm just having a little trouble getting BFME 1 up and running.

I've completed these steps;

1. Download and install Daemon Tools Lite (do not update this specific version if the old version runs! Try Alcohol52% or WinCDEmu alternatively)
2. Download BFME1 (original unmodified version): Main / Mirror
3. Mount the downloaded .iso file with Daemon Tools (try this youtube video if you need help)
4. Install BFME1 from the now mounted disk image. Need a CD-key? Note: some antivirus software will flag the keygen. This is a false positive. The keygen is perfectly safe.

But when trying to complete step 5, the download that takes place when running the update.exe fails (FYI i'm trying to install it to the same directory as the game installation, i'm assuming this is correct) 

Any help would be appreciated

Also, does this 'all in one patch 1.06 installer' include the HD textures and the ability to play at a decent resolution (that isn't a square) or are these separate downloads?

Edit; Welp, i've resolved this issue. only to find i now have the die in 3 minutes issues, despite running it as admin in comparability mode :(

Double Edit; everything is fine! Just had to reinstall to my C drive, no idea why but i read it online somewhere and it worked
