I am not sur where you are going exactly, as I am not intending to use my disc ever again as a matter of fact. This is what I think you mean:

1. find a computer where you have installed your game at

2. update it to the correct version

3. copy the installation to something distributable

I have a question though:

can I make an iso out of my disc to use instead of the disc itself? I am asking because it might be a solution, because there might be DMR functionality on the disc.

OH! Well, it did not appear at all from the information given at the forshire blog, then I understand mor eclearly why the campaign does not function properly :\

What I tried to say is that there are two programs that appearently are a part of the installation crash when finishing, though I tried to keep it as clear as possible while filling all the details I was capable of

Do you know of a good download for a version that do not require the disc then? I would appreciate very much

I am very sorry if I am bothering anyone with this, but appearntly the installation uses utilities that crash on my win8 samsung laptop.

When installing, it all goes fine, until it reaches "finishing installation" that is. When it reach this state, it crashes two utilities, which after looking in game appearently are important for making the campaign map and the battle guide work at all. (the map is stuck and after a second load up and forth the camera is stuck underneath the map, and the book never even show up)

The crashing programs are:

fwoff64.exe

fwon64.exe

it says the name of the problem is "BEX64"

If it is of interest, I downloaded from forshire.blogspot

(yes, I have no idea what information to give, just taking a wild guess :\)

I hope if someone knows the solution to this, as I do not want to risk the life of the nice looking disc with the original game, thus I want the fixes and whatnot from the one I have tried to install

(even google did not know anything about the issue :(, so I hoped that you people know how to handle the problem, as I have no experience with this kind of issue at all)
