Well I don’t think it’s specificallly a steam or origin problem because I have tried installing game with CD as well with the same pesky problem . What the problem is is CNC TW and KW only recognize DirectX 9 , 10 , and 11 ... windows 10 comes preinstalled with DirectX 12 and you cannot uninstall it or downgrade it . I know there is a solution because I’ve read about and talk to peoples online who are running the game on Windows 10 . I’ve tried most of the solution after googleing it and most direct you to Microsoft website to download different directx solution but they do not work . Is there anything you can suggest to help

I tried installing the game with disc , with origins , and with steam , and i tried launching it the normal way , by clicking on the desktop icon without cnc-online app and with cnc-online app. I get the same message . Apparently windows 10 comes installed with DirectX 12 and the game does not recognize it . I’ve tried installing a DirectX end user runtime that is suppose to fix the problem but I’ve had no such luck. I’ve talked to other players online using my old laptop with windows 8 and they say they are running the game on windows 10 with no problem . Am I missing something here ?I want to play CNC TW and KW on new
Laptop but cannot get passed this message. Can you help me ?
