Thanks for not giving up on my post toxic even it must have been annoying with all the problems i was getting!

BINGO! It was my antivirus causing the crashes! I didnt get any notifications but i was looking around in it and found that it was blocking the games access to change anything in my folders! Played a whole bunch of games crash free, man it feels good to play this game again! 

My temps are fine, what i have done though is stopped my anti virus from blocking the game turns out after a game it would crash due to the replay saving being block by bitdefender. Ive played for an hour on singleplayer and no bugs at all, so im just waiting for one of my friends to get online so i can test the online gameplay. Sometimes i can play a game without a bug so ill have to play a few with multiple people to be sure. Im feeling good about this attempt!

Update: doesnt stop the crashing

For anyone else who has this issue, at the moment ive tried lowering the settings ingame to medium ,and im 3 games in ( including a long ass skirmish ) and no crashes ingame, only the odd crash after then game has ended. Try it and see if it works for you. Ive also set compatibility mode to vista SP2 or whatever the latest vista one is, thought i think lowering the settings is what has helped more here.
