You want lots of info and most important CORRECT info? Here you go:

http://www.fas.org/m.../army/unit/toe/

That would be the TOE (Table of Organization and Equipment) for the entire United States Army, from the very top all the way down to the squads and fireteams.

That should cover most of it...if you have anymore questions just ask.

What i am looking for is some group trained in the most bizzare ways, capable of carrying out long operations deep behind enermy lines. Something like russian Vympel or british SAS groups.

...Green Berets, they are the only spec ops group that actually work with indiginous forces.

Wrong, every other US SOF does that as well, even the regular grunts do it nowadays, just look at Iraq and Afghanistan.

I actually think you should have Rangers, SF, and SEALs...if done properly they could all be extremely useful and necessary.

Rangers are a quick strike raiding force, 'shock troops' if you will. They are special operations forces but act more along the lines of extremely high speed and well equipped light infantry.

Special Forces are unconventional warfare experts with specialty in the 'hearts and minds' and indigenous training/advising role. They can kickass, but it's not their top priority.

SEALs are more centered to direct action, they're trained for everything but their main purpose is to make a low profile approach to a target, destroy it, and leave before anyone knows what happened. Doing all of this with as little manpower possible.
