Because if yes, then it might be how you downloaded it. For example when the patch was initally released it was through the FTP website, now when i installed it with that method the game ran fine BUT none of the buildings for angmar appeared when built. Now i reinstalled rotwk and then downloaded the patch again (not from the FTP site) and now it appears properly.
Although this could be because i installed the patch from and i know its not the same problem as yours but it may help =)

Finally, someone wrote a tutorial for this and i have to say it is well written and explained so well that a real dummy could follow . This tutorial is great for someone who has no talent in skinning or modelling, namely me .I posted this in my subforum, but I know that this question has been asked here quite often. I've released my first tutorial:
http://www.the3rdage.net/item-116
There are two pieces to this:
1) The object ini and other ini entries needed for the Dwarven Sage. I've combined all of the pieces from the create-a-hero for this sub-faction. This will be the first file, and over time I will be releasing the same for each of the heroes. Also some .psd files to help with putting together portraits and buttons.
2) A tutuorial step-by-step on how to put the hero together for those unfamiliar with modding, from ini entries, to adding special powers, to create your own portraits and buttons. Each object I release will have step-by-stteps for adding different types of special powers. This one will show the axethrow, leap, & Earthshaker.
If there are particular powers that you would like to be included in one of the models or a particular model you would like to see first, just let me know in my sub-forum:
http://forums.revora...?showforum=1502
All I ask is that if you use the base files you reference me (robnkarla) somewhere in your documentation and send me an e-mail with a link to your mod so I can see what you have done. I'm always interested what others have done.
Let me know what you think. I'll get better as I write more of these crazy things. I also thought I'd practice before writing my living world campaign tutorial.

I havent implemented this yet but i plan to when i can get on my computer that has rotwk on it . I'll post any problems i have later

well historically the longbows that the english developed were really powerful over long range (since thats the point in a bow and arrow, whats the point if they wern't) by the looks in the pictures these don't go straight up then down put over a realistic distance for a longbow. Anyway i've seen when historian remade one of those and some guy fired at a mock body with plate armour( from about 200m) and went straight through the armour and body then into the ground. The first guns that were developed were so crap that a longbow was more powerful and could fire further.#well no the bombardment shouldnt be as powerful as a normal arrow,i'm guessing you increased the damage the elves do with bombard from what it originally was in the game (well at least in rotwk) coz that sucked in the game
because ... emm... welll.... they dont have as much...force, because their just falling down rather than being aimed down if you get what i mean..... the arrows are fired to go up, and its gravity which causes how fast they come down and how powerfully..... mostly, not entirely... im probably not making sense but also they are further away so an arrow pointed to your head would do more damage close up than far away.
i'll just shutup now.
So back to the link, just because the arrow is being fired a reasonable distance doesn't mean that the bombard of the elves should do the equivelent damage as slapping someone with a wet fish?
Also, aragorn's power would be pretty rubbish if that's all it would do....
