i really don't know, i never tried modding the select hero thing, sorry for let you down 

go to your bfme 2 folder and to texture1.big find art\compiledtextures\ap\aptcomponents_003 

but creating new require both editing the tga file and adding it to mappedimage and im sure you know all that

well i've mannaged to fix it, it turned out that moving gondorrangerhorde in experiencelevels.ini from good_elite to good_troops 

so if anyone has a related issue or anything like that try doing what i did it'll help

can you post the special ability and the commandbutton of this power
