Hey, i had the same issue and after some digging i found this on the fourms and it fixed it for me. Lunch the game from the .exe not the launcher shortcut and follow the steps in that post.

so im trying to play  C&C3:TW and kanes wrath but when i try to login using the details for the server login it comes up saying "The Specified online ID or account name is already in use. Please try using a different one" even though i followed the instructions and imputed the details right. when i checked the forms i found a post saying to post what i put above and someone will add the name or something so it works. I am not sure if i posted it right or what exactly but do you know a solution to this issue?
