Downloading, Installation & Crashes! - Support!

01 July 2007 - 06:08 PM

If you need help installing this mod or if it crashes, just follow these steps:

First off:
If you have a pirated edition of BFME2, MODS WILL NOT WORK! In addition, T3A does not and will not help people with pirated versions! So, if you have a pirated version, you can live in shame or you can go out and buy a clean copy.

You need to go to the SEE Web Station - but I hope you know how to do that? There you'll find the download link! Then, after downloading, you will need to UNPACK (aka "unzip") the file to a space on your hard drive, of your own choice. You will need the program WinRAR to extract the RAR-file. If you don't want it or have it, download the .zip file that Windows can unpack HERE. You'll find it HERE! Scroll down until you see the English (or whatever) version of 3.62 (It is a free demo that does not have a countdown timer, only bugs you to buy the full version, just ignore the messages).
What to do with it is explained in the "Installation Instructions" that is another of the 6 files in the download. It's in PDF format, so you will need Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader to be able to open that document. You'll find that program on ADOBE.COM! Also, one of the biggest problems that people have is that they have an unpatched game. To find patches go to THIS site and search for your game's language. Start at patch 1.01 and work your way up to patch 1.06.

Now, that doesn't sound TOO hard, does it? :p

Good luck!
Nazgul

P.S. Clonecommand is no longer Support Manager. He can not help you.

Clonecommand's Installation Manual

14 June 2007 - 02:56 PM

I have learned to never press ctrl+w. Try it...hehe :p

I'm using this thread to tell of new versions of the manual I've worked up. If I've added anything else to the mod, I'll put that here, too.

Movie and Audio files

Even though it would be a rather large file, could you make a seperate download of the sound and audio files? I deleted mine and don't feel like finding them again.

Patch 2.01 and other things

25 April 2007 - 12:02 AM

I'll ask here because I wouldn't know where else to ask, and I know some prominent modders visit this wonderful mod forum

Is it possible to make a CaH converter thingy so that all the CaH in RotWk can be in BFME2? Since the 2.01 patch has one that does the reverse...

Is it also possible to put all the new units in RotWk into BFME2? I'd bet that would be illegal, but if it can be done, maybe have a installer that draws from the RotWk folder, therefore requiring RotWk to be installed.

Just ideas because there are some useful things in RotWk, and Nazgul refuses to make that mod for RotWk.

If that was confusing, I'll have to reword it.

English Splash

14 April 2007 - 12:35 AM

A little tutorial on how to have your own english splash without replacing the original. I know nothing about modding, so I don't know if it is any good.
