Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Yeah i know this !!! I think that we all are addicted to video games ! For me its good :) ... But dont forget your normal (real) life ! I'm really addicted, to contra espescially in Super Weapon and Robot gen... By the way, M.E.C.H. your fafnir is very good when we will play it ??? I hope that you are working on an other mech ! Cause for sure you and Viator make the best work in mechs ^_^ !!!

a mech is alot more work than a standard tank.  there are some mech models I've found online,  and theres a small chance of resurecting the mech Creator had started...  I'd like to add more,  but they are enough work that its a long way fom certain they will make into the game.

Guest, be sure that the mech projects will not end here, (i will not gonna let it !!!! :lol: ) For sure we all like mechs, except from few ones.... Whatever, i hope that the new mechs will be cool !
Pendaelose, i have talked it with Viator, and we will revive the creators mech but, we will change it a little bit... For sure it will be more beautifull from creators one, i have talked with Viator how it should be, if you want tosee it (how it will be !) then say to him, to give you the pics........ Now, Guest be sure that new mechs will be added (the warhound [The mech that Creator started..] will have to wait for a while...)

Some ideas:

1) If you are worried about base defense for GLA, how about a fixed anti-tank gun emplacement? It would be quite similar to the Krupp 88mm antitank/antiaircraft gun of the Second World War, except that it can only fire armor piercing, anti-tank rounds, albeit at an impressive rate.

2) Possible to add a M1 tank to all American generals but the cybernetic general?
If so, upgrades: a) HA (heavy armor) upgrade: equips tank with depleted uranium armor, increasing defense against AP rounds (like number one, above); b) combat networking, allows nearby M1s to fire at targets at longer ranges, just like the patriots do; c) Flechette round, click-for-use, allows the next round fired to spread thousands of flechettes in the air in the direction the tank is firing, does no damage to vehicles but shreds infantry, probably have a refresh timer.

3) EF-18 'Sparky'. Faster, more maneuverable ECM plane to replace the B-52.

4) E-3 Sentry AWACS. Reveals stealth units, allows air defense weapons to fire at longer range?

5) ALRAAM (advanced long range air to air missile) for the F-22. Allows this plane to rule the skies by swatting out missiles at longer ranges.

6) Speed upgrade for cybernetic general?

7) Nanotechnology. Allows autorepair of all drones and hunters for Cybernetic general.

8) Tactical Defense Laser System. This semitruck based laser has only one function: to shoot down incoming missiles and artillery shells (the US actually has shot down artillery shells).

9) Machine gunner. Infantry for all sides, fires steady stream of bullets.

The turret and the m1 idea is very good, but the other ones have no purpose.... The new rocket for the f22 : Why ? We already have the JSF, it is already ruling the sky ! The machine gunner : Why ? We have other units that scatter infantry... As for the E3 AWACS i 've already suggastioned it.. and got no answer......... :blush:

I've played around with the AWAC... my first model for it looked like ass...  but I have also described a few times my addons for the Osprey that will replace the support planes and really undoes the need for the AWAC all togeather. its cool, but not needed anymore.

Thank god.... fine ! So the laser and ecm support planes will be replaced by the osprey ? Also i liked the guest's idea : nanotechnology ! It is a fine idea and it fits well ! It will work just like the junk repair !

both support planes will be replaced by 3 osprey addons...

Microwave Turret,
EMP Missles (replaces ECM beam, looks different, does the same thing)
Radar/PointDefense

there will also be

gattling (i've made USA gatling weapons for tanks/base defenses as well)
bunker (same as combat chinook)

the phalanx is so bad ass indeed...

what I've made looks much more like a china gat, though it is distintly american (theres a shot included in the new pic) but it was directly inspired by the phalanx.

yes, missles can be 2 stage,3 stage, as many as you want. DieAtHight and LifeTimeUpdate can be used togeather with replacment objects.

I'm not 100% sure... I think it does, but I've not tried it like that. I do know it will work on an area weapon though...

u need to get rid of super weapon generals emp partort and change it for somthing that can kill infantry u look at china u put gattings (infantry killers) bunkers (tanks if put tank hunters inside) or in this mods case missile lunchers (tank killers) but lets look at super weapon general emp patroits (tank killer) missle firebase (tank killer) sdi cannon (both)( but cant get till when built everything) but wheres the infantry killer plz wright back...

Its one of the upgrades you can get at the strategy centre.... one of the rocket upgrades allos patriot missiles plus all other USA Superweapon gen missiles/bombs to kill infantry. (I can't remember the name, sorry)
