Just some crazy brainstorming

Here are some ideas for a patch or something,

1. Each side should get there own version of the troop crawer.
A. China keeps troop crawler, but it gets a rocket launcher on top (anphibious)
B. The GLA gets the BMP-1 which holds 10 infantry, has a 30mm Auto cannon, fast on land or water (anphibious
C. USA gets the LAV (light armoured vehicle) that has a 25mm bushmaster machine gun, and can be upgraded with a TOW missile Holds 8 infantry, heavily armoured (compared to others) rather slow on land or water (for balance)(anphibious)

2. A version of the Paladin tank without the armoured skirt (over the back treads)
A. Has 2 cannons instead of 1
B. No laser
C. Can be upgraded with 2 tow launchers (one on each side, like the renegade mammoth rocket launchers)
D. if that is not the maximum number of weapons, add 2 machine guns. (upgrade)
E. Costs $2000

3. GLA gets a heavy tank
A. Marauder with turret
I. the 2 cannon version
B. can be upgrader with scorpion rockets

1.You know what the key word in the armies in generals? ORIGINALATY, so this idea will not be very good for that.
1.B.Its too overpowered to have a tank that can hold 10 infantry, cary a secondery weapon and the amphibious ability.
1.C. I see you realy love troop crawlers, becuase this one its just the troop crawler with weapons, its not very original .
2.A-C. To take a basic tank and turn it into 2 barrled tank is too overused in my opinion.
3.A. Why to have a salvaged version of the marauder tank in the arms dealer if u can just salvage 2 crates with a normal marauder? Its just waste of coding.
All the other ideas are fine if you ask me. And it's good that the community are helping us to come up with ideas keep those coming.

But if your not playing as GLA, say, china, you capture a GLA supply stash, you cant use the marauder. personallly i think that sucks

what about a king tiger tank mk 2 for the gla give them a good tank since the rest suck

2.A-C. USA is not about brute force, is more about menuvarable tanks that designed only for their purpose.
3.A. On that you right but still, it's a bit strange to have 2 versions of the marauder in the arms dealer, maybe if this will replace the original marauder tank.

What about an airship like the kirov with heavy armment that when really badly damaged could become like the battle bus and become a static structure?

forgot to mention, #3 has a turret, and should replace the marauder tank as a generals point or something

i agree wit guest, well, i guess i have no choice, its my idea, i have to like it, and marcjs, what do you think of the gla or all the factions get a version of a german tank from ww2, and i want ur opinion, not how it will affect the mod, just your unprofessional opinion

I like some of this ideas but as you may know this ideas would not be implemented until version 5.1 of the mod. As we are making the public version of 5.0 at the moment. zack if you read this topic take the ideas you like to implement them in the future release.

since china and usa have good tanks such as the overlord and the pladin the gla tanks dont match up to them they get killed before they can destory the enemy i think it would be a good idea to give the King tiger tank to them however since this is set in 2000 odd the king tiger should have been customised by the GLA to have a 125mm gun and a machine gun built into the turrent which rotates with the turrent this unit should be able to stand and fight against the best tanks in the game giving GLA the much need anti tank weapon

What somthing like the MAD Tank but it works on infantry. I personally think it would be funny seeing a tank explode and infantry flying in all directions. It could be armed with something like the Overlords gun. Cost £3000-3500?
