This is another ever lasting poll, this time it's for your fav medium of art.
I know theres many, but i've listed what i think are the main types.

Paper - Pens, Pencils, Paint...
Pixel - Paint Shop Pro, Photo Shop...
Material - Clay, Metal, Wood...
Photo - Colour, Black & White...

I'm a black ink pen person. Reds also very nice to work with. Most of my drawings a lines, so pens suits me fine.

The pale and weak pencils annoys me - i think this is because of the power to 'undo' any mistakes, i just dose not feel like it's flowing if you have to rub bits out.

I'm a pixel person. My offline art talent is limited, but Photoshop can add a lot more "skills".

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

i couldn't make up my mind lol, i just went with paper, since it's the most fundemental component of art, and you really can do alot in traditional mediums, even though digital mediums have caught up

I prefer pixel to pens, (really bad at freehand) but when I use a ruler i can usually whip up a pretty good planometric or perspective drawing, its wen i draw living things that i have trouble.

Paper and pencil, I've been drawing things since I was a little kid, gotta stick with paper and pencil. Really forgiving, but then, pixel art is the most forgiving I'd have to say...

You seem to have forgotten the option of 3dgraphics by using such programs as 3dsmax, maya, gmax(for the people with no money/keygens..LOL...)...etc... cause that too is art. and my choice to make my images :)

I think that's included in pixel, as you usually render it...

Yeah true I figured someone would respond with that and you are correct it still uses pixels for the final render but the models you make is differnt from creating a paint image from a paint app. I feel that way at least. But I could be wrong.

But its still composed of pixels, even though its much different from other programs. I think by pixel, he pretty much meant anything on the computer in general.

I prefer paper, 99.9% of my mod's art is on paper, but I dont have an effective way to get the paper onto the internet where people can see it.

The point of the penCil, D, is that you can go over it later in pen. Make sure it looks how you want (and NOT like a complete monkey's breakfast) before you finish it off and then post it up. Pencil scans really shitty, but it's good for making it look good before you go over it with a black pen (in my case, a gel pen).

It's like a spell checker ( ). Makes sure its prim and proper before you go on.

I won't vote on the poll, since I use PSP for touching up stuff I draw. I've also tried to use it for my Cartoonity page design, however it takes bloody forever. Took me two nights and it's still not done, because I can't do the cool abstracts like Photoshop.

The Pure reason WHY i choose Pixel over everything else is that Pens, pencils, Clay, Photos etc. remind me of when i did art for GCSE...

...NEVER AGAIN will i touch the above material due to past teachers discoraging me constantly :( :(

Atleast with a computer it just come of with an error if a program has performed an illegal opperation, not something like "No no no that not what u want to do, you and to do it this way and with this tool etc etc.."

sorry i got a bit carried away there...

...i choose pixels
