when playing suddun strike mod system freezes and gives error message about yuri's revenge main executable I have tryed to run three times same result :rolleyes:

Did you patch YR to 1.001 prior to playing Sudden Strike?

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

yes and still same problem only get to play a few minates and game stops with a yuris revenge error message

Does this only happen with Sudden Strike? Or do it happen with YR itself.

Do you have any files such as rulesmd.ini, artmd.ini, soundmd.ini, ra2md.csf, expandmdxx.mix (xx = number between 02 and 99), ecachemdxx.mix (xx = number between 01 and 99), in your RA2 Directory. (C:\westwood\ra2)?

If so remove those files, DO NOT REMOVE expandmd01.mix as that is part of the patch. If you haven;t got any of those files and it only crashes when you play Sudden Strike do you have a proper version of YR? If yes then i'll take a look into it.

Found and removed the first 4 but could not find the last 2.I was using computer search feature could you tell me were to look better. Only crashes when using sudden strike Yuri works fine. What do you mean proper version. could this have anything to do with norton or servise pack 2

Hmm. Is there any aimd.ini in your RA2 directory either?

I'm not really sure what it could be. SS seems to work fine everywhere else. I'll take a look at it myself shortly.

I completly uninstalled yuris then reinstall and patched still same problem works great fo a few minates than locks up with error message from yuris revenge
yuri's works fine help please I have installed sudden strike on my laptop and it runs great but i would like to play on my desk top with bigger screen and better sound

Yuri's Revenge without SS works fine? Did you try dl-ing SS again? It might just be a faulty download (due to a dl-manager?)

I have service pack 2 and it's work find

Mabye you pc is too old and mabye dead soon lol

But download it again and dont play ANY mod before yuo get SS now

It's a cool mod man keep workning :laugh:
