If you have questions ask us.
And if there is a geek here who would like to spend time reducing the 6MB to 500KB, he is welcome but I'm no longer spending time trying to compress it.

Did you not try this one? Or do you mean it doesn't work and you want a FULL iso? Are you using the right patch?

If the image files I made don't work neither will the full image. If you are using Daemon Tools you "have" to mount the image to SCSI. Mounting it normally won't work. This is valid for any other software you may be using.

Well, I have them mounted to SCSI, but when I start it, it will get to this screen, then stop responding, and then I have to close it with task manager. Besides, I'm not too fond of Forshire's Special Edition thing but it's the only one I could find.

I was just solving the same issue for someone else yesterday. Do you have 2.02 installed?
(You can easily find clean versions online, I'm also not fond of Forshire's editions really.)

I don't have 2.02. I'll go grab it.
EDIT:I got it and it works fine. I must have missed the comments where you helped the other person, sorry about that. Thanks for all the help!

Does BFME2, just the base game, work for you all? I just now stumbled upon your new images and are actually looking for something similar for the base game, because I can find no way to get it working without the physical disc inserted :/

You need to mount the base images to SCSI.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but I need some assistance as well. I have installed bfme2 and rotwk with no problems but they wouldn't run no matter what. I followed the instructions and got rotwk 2.02 to work just fine (THANKS GUYS!!) but my friend and I want to play the battletest directors cut patch for rotwk. Any way to make this work? The base images for both rotwk and bfme2 do not work with wincdemu, daemon tools, or alcohol 52. I'm loading into SCSI and everything. Just keeps saying no disc.
Also, why the hell is this game $300?? Anyone know of a digital version I could purchase instead?

As far as acquiring the game, just torrent it. Nobody cares anymore about piracy regarding BFME games.
To your initial concern, I do not know what this "battletest directors cut patch" is.. What is probably the case is that this "patch" or version, whatever it is, does not work with the fixed image that we have provided to work for rotwk on Windows 10. Could you link a reference to this "battletest directors cut patch"?

I know and I did torrent it but I'd still like to get my hands on a hard copy eventually. Brings back so many memories...
Here is a link to google code for the btdc patch. https://code.google.com/p/rotwk-btdc/
Windows 10 makes this really annoying :( never had a problem with daemon tools on windows 7 with just the base images...
Does it matter that the only torrent I could find had images from the newer dvd release not the old 6-cd release?

So you are saying that for example this image doesn't work with the edain mod, and only works with the patch 2.02 v5.0.1? What I shoul do If I want to play edain mod with the windows 10?
