There is a possibly suited model in the Collector's Edition for Smaug. The four legged Smaug not Wyvern Smaug. =p

The eyes on the texture are blue. A little hard to tell on the render, though. I'll see if I can brighten them without getting that weird Hobbit-Legolas look.

Have you edited Arwen, because even though the original 3d model was good, I think it should be edited to look a bit better. (I am a guy saying this.) =p

 

Another thing: what if we added normal maps to every terrain? I am wondering myself if that would significantly increase the quality of BfME I era maps. We cannot increase the size of every terrain, but I hope there is some way they can be increased in quality.

Arwen has been improved, yeah. More mesh definition, mostly.

I think rather than more normal maps, I would like to replace a bunch of terrible terrain textures with comparable, higher res images at some point.

The HD texture packs are just that: a file containing higher res textures. What we're working on here is something that replaces both models and textures with completely new art.

why not add shield for heavy armor version only? makes sense... Very nice models indeed
