Title says it all.
I'd like to extract some unit voice files from the Mental Omega mod. I have the XCC utilities, but I'm not sure which .mix file I need to open.
I heard somewhere that the MO MIX files were protected. Is this true? If so, is opening them up even allowed? I definitely do not want to do something frowned on by the mod creators.

Okay, okay, I gotcha - I had heard that the .mix files were encrypted, but I wasn't sure if it was true. I'm not going to do it if the devs don't want me to.

I wonder how the devs managed to encrypt the MIX files, because I would like to find a way to even encrypt BIG files for recent C&C games.

I also wanted to extract the voice files from the .mix file to upload all unit voices as a youtube video, I guess it's impossible.

There are videos of some of the VA's doing previews of their work in youtube. (Dragonnor for example) if you want to hear some of them.
