I'm new here, and very interested in admech stuff, how do I get access in? It's the only active subforum in this subforum.

Greetings and salutations, esteemed senior members! I'm a fresh new member from Space , & hope to join the DOW1 community here. I've also noticed that many DOW Mod sub-forums are password-protected... I will not ask why, but I hope to also gain access to them, if possble. I have never once spammed or trolled in my life, btw. I'm 31, a hobbyist 3d modeller, & eager to be of use to the community in the mid-long term.
A real pleasure to be here, especially among familiar Modding-Brothers such as Mr Thudo, Mr jONES1979 & Mr Gambit.
Cheers!!!

Afternoon, Mr Fuggles. I am also, currently, working on my own DOW mod, some screenies here http://www.moddb.com...s/dawn-of-glory. You can then decide whether I could be a worthy addition, or not.
It would be my immense pleasure to contribute my 2 cents to the community.
Also, I would love to have access to private DOW Dev subforums; but only if & when you think I have earned it . I swear on my honor to never be a nuisance to anyone, good sir.

NP brother Ziani!!!
PM with whatever you interested in, and I will send you the passes
Modellers - but especially men of your quality - are always welcome in our midst.
I currently lead AdMech, but when it comes to models, I am... not.

welcome! It would be great if you could lend eventually a hand on those "lacking models" which some mods need to be fulfilled. Even with the plethora of available models always there is something missing. Currently there are four mods under deep development and design while other ones from the list are awaiting some art assets, mostly from my side, or small addons/fixes in terms of AI/scar/AE balance.

Hello brother Roderick ! You can pm me the list of the most needed high-priority assets &/or unfinished models. Like I told you before on ModDB, I DO intend to "do something" for my beloved community.
P.S.: It's great meeting you here, brother. You have been missed indeed

Could this be the start of an old Razorback or dragon Knight, after all this time?
If you can animate that would be amazing as there is a model taurox and some admech models that are inanimate.
So yeah, very welcome!
Roderick is look at an ork mod that needs some 3d love.

Yes Mr Fuggles, I also make animations, randomized and all, and am very capable with Object Editor.
As for my mod: I'm aware it's large in scope. It is not my intention to challenge any chapter mod, or make it redundant; heaven forbid! I simply aim to offer a different experience, with expanded SM chapters and upgraded models/visuals, featuring different unit builds and whatnot...

Whatever advice you need just ask. More often than not, it will have been asked or done before.
By now the orks are practically completed in terms of 3d but in terms of OE maybe I need some teaching to get something improved.

Uh?
I could make a list of pending/futurible things which require 3D magic, in case you are keen on some model or project in particular. I personally have some hope in reviving the Elysian Legends.
If I can learn something in the process, the better

I have always wanted an original Razorback and a dragon Knight in game. The former should not be tons of work, but would be cool. The latter would be a lot of work but would also be cool.
Razorback? You mean the Astartes transport?
Also, what do you mean by Dragon Knight? Is it a Salamander Astartes riding a Dragon, maybe? I'm not joking btw; just a little confused...

It will be an honor to be of assistance, Mr Roderick. Please PM me on ModDB, or right here, on the subject. All I ask is that you be specific on what exactly you require, brother.

Exodites are eldar on dinosaurs, Google exodite eldar for images. Wild eldar with lances on raptors 😁
Also the taurox model, if you are able to animate it?

Ahh exodites. Unfortunately there are no official support (and never will) for them, but there are interesting unofficial conversions with four or five dinoriders.
In a more general scope I think the game lack a lot of riders: eldar riders on dinosaurs, astartes scout bikes, ork boar riders, rough riders of the imperial guard and thunderwolves cavalry. At least we have to be grateful to have the steel legion rider, the kroot tracker, the ork biker and the marine bikers. I suppose there are the most complicated things to animate, chiefly the four legged beings

Ahem...
Guys, instead of inquiring new models, why don't we ask brother Ziani to help us with the existing ones that just need finishing, and keep us back from releasing projects? I mean something like:
http://www.mediafire...yj150fjamzg.jpg
http://www.mediafire...cv2hcc2btzg.jpg
These two Harleys buildings only need mapping/texturing and this is far less work!
Not to mention the Altar of Tzeentch, which is the last building of Thousand Sons we are missing...

Of course! But I still need to finish the Orks, & new DA first. That's because brother Thudo was the first person to make a request for updated DeathWing Terminators + DeathWing Knights + New Belial Model... not to mention they will be included for the first episode of my mod (Orks+DA)...

Vehicle animation? really? That would only take 5 minutes at most!

Yes, my thunderwolf rider model is still unfinished mostly because I'm learning how to animate quadrupeds; really tricky, I assure you.
Exodite Dino Riders? Biped on biped, right? Should be fairly easy, I think.
