hi, i'm new at modeling and also new in this place. i found some tutorials in the3rdage and I tried to apply as much as I can but i couldn't do it. i want my custom hero to use his bow like legolas do, i tried to use legolas skeleton but after i view it on w3d it looks funny. i think i need to bind all the bones one by one (i don't know how to do it) because all the verticels are different in every model. btw i'm trying to use ''char_ar_u_skn'' Adsız.jpg as my hero which is not available in the game. can you please help me?

(apologize for my english)

This is the tutorial you should follow.

Of course each model looks different but if you understand how an animation works with the skeleton you will figure out which vertex should follow what bone. And as a general rule, yes, auto-bind never works, you need to bind manually, every time.

Importing the hero is a whole different process. This is just for model bind so at the end it will work in w3d view.

You need to follow this tutorial.
