Me and my mates, all are experiencing the same thing, the start music is sooo loud 

I mean the music is really nice, but the contrast between this and ingame is insane,

 

Do others experience this also?

is this a bug or done on purpose?

I can't answer your second question, but my solution for the first was to go to the Windows mixer settings (right-click the speaker icon in the notification area) and decrease the volume of the launcher.

You can adjust the volume of client's sounds in Options, you can also turn the music/sfx off entirely.

thx this worked, if i am correct then the default settings for the client is 10, and for ingame its around 3, thats makes the confusion.

First i indeed fixed it with windows mixer,

just a notice to the devs, maybe if other people had the same issue, just a suggestion set the default client sound to 3 or at least the same as the in game sound
