It has been more than 3 weeks since the release of Mental Omega 3.3.4. One thing unusual about this latest update is that there are many “hidden” changes not listed on the official changelog before the release or even now, and some of them are rather significant. There have been some fan efforts to list all the changes introduced in 3.3.4 (http://moapyr.wikia....3.3.4_Changelog) (https://tieba.baidu.com/p/5913100352). It would be great if the official changelog can be updated to include all of them.

The existence of “hidden” changes aside, it seems there have been more vocal complaints about the balance than usual after the release of 3.3.4. Admittedly, this “feeling” might be the result of availability heuristic or vocal minority effect, but after a discussion within the MO Discord server, we think it might be a good idea to start this topic so that people can post their major complaints about balancing in 3.3.4 in the same place. If it turns out there are indeed many legitimate issues in the gameplay of 3.3.4, we really hope there can be a balance update, something like 3.3.4b, instead of waiting for the release of Act 2 finale or any new missions in general to fix the PvP balancing.

With how broken some things in the game are, for example:

- Battle Tortoise noise when a SEAL is inside (fun earrape)

- Panic Cycle apparently giving Epsilon tech

I feel a hotfix should be a thing for at least Panic Cycle.

About the "hidden" changes, I am far from a fan of that especially since some are significant and some question why would we ever bother with balance ever again if the suggestions we make get a insignificant nerf shown, but then behind the scenes it gets a buff instead thats more significant than the useless nerf (looking at you, Volkov).

Your balance suggestions are bad

The change to abrams is the most significant of them although it's honestly more of a bugfix, since in 3,3,3 the lasers were used but did no damage to vehicles (or almost nonexistant). Now they make a very significant impact allowing the abrams to 1v1 almost every vehicle including the collosus and mirage tank. This leaves me a little concerned considering how versatile of a unit the abrams is outside of this.

I wonder how much more was hidden in the previous changelogs, how many "bugs" in the balance department were actualy undocumented changes?

The Panic Cycle bug was an accident. One of the designers made some changes to it after it was tested and those changes weren't tested, because it didn't make it to the testing version (I tested it myself).

It will likely be patched in the version only, so don't expect hotfixes.
