Installer all green

Then i get this error message:

I never had this kind of error before.

 

Ok, I searched that error in Internet and it looks a compatibility problem. Can you try these steps:

 

 

How to fix problem

COMMAND AND CONQUER RED ALERT 2 

FATAL**** String Manager failed to initialize properly

 

 

FIRST WAY                                                                           

1.Go to the game directory                                              

2.Find RA2 application (In this case the only RA2 game file is "gamemd.exe")

3.Right click and troubleshoot compatibility                 

4.Try recommended settings                                           

5.Start program and next                                                  

6.Fix 

7.Play                                                                               

 

SECOND WAY

1.Go to game directory

2.Right click on RA2 and properties  (In this case the only RA2 game file is "gamemd.exe")

3.Compatibility

4.Run this program in compatibility and select

5.Windows XP servise pack 2

6.Than go to apply and ok

7.Play

Windows XP COmptab Mode did the trick.
