Paradox Engine in Hamartia mission timer for time freeze not counting down.

Okay, so here's what happens in the scenario

1. You pick one of two places where you can recharge the Paradox. You can send it to your base or your ally's (I picked my ally's base)

2. Your ally is attacked by sudden Soviet army.

3. The Paradox is forced to leave, which stops the charge timer and you're tasked to clear an Epsilon base on the bottom right.

4. After 3 is done, you should bring your Paradox there to continue the recharging process

If you've done all 4 of this, then it's a bug, but if you only managed to get to 2, then I'm afraid you may have missed the objective in the dialog. I almost had that happen to me as well, although I did know that the charging wasn't finished.

Sorry for asking stupid question but I am pretty new to mental omega. I am at the last allied mission Hamartia and so far it is kicking my ass. The steady flow of enemies is staggering. I thought maybe the Time Freeze would help, but for some reason the timer is stuck at 14.59, and isn't counting down. I had paradox engine land in my base, and then it flew back when it was done supposedly from recharging, but as I stated the timer is frozen(no pun intended). Did miss some part of the "dialogue" that explained why the paradox engine isn't working? I've been playing C&C games since first one, and I am using casual difficulty, but goddamn the mission seems unbeatable, especially when you get sneak attacked by the back of your base eventually. Any one got ideas?

P.S no git guds....something more constructive please.
