I've setup your news script

Your template does not look very good. Seems to have become centered, with poor text and link colours.

You should be able to change this in your site and with the template.html file.

I had to make a topic to see if it was working. MM says topics don't get deleted, only edited. Talk to him about getting rid of my test topic.

I patched the news script today. All smilies should now work, and the view comments link should work as well. Do NOT put any type of URL in the show all comments link, as it is now set correctly to point to the forums.

the first little bit of it shows up white the rest black.

i want it to only show one post on the main page.

the others are still showing... back to plain old reliable html for now.

Could you set up a test page and show me what you do? I've fixed a few things with the script. Also, you need to post news in your news forum for it to show up. I see no posts in your news forum that would show.

i had deleted the posts in the news forum but as Detail has mentioned, the posts stick.
also, in articles.txt i put the value of 1, as i want only 1 article (the most current) to show on the main page.

It seems fine to me. Is the horizontal rule supposed to be white or something?

Edit: I just checked it, and everything seems to be working fine. What seems to be the problem?

working good now except for one small problem.

clicking on the poster's name points to:

http://forums.revora...&CODE=03&MID=71

resulting in:

http://forums.revora.nethttp ...Could not be found

its not a big deal to me but i thought since you were ironing out the bugs i'd point this one out.

Should be fixed, I adjusted your template. Did you change something in the page? I see no news on your main page now.
