I think it's cool how it does that. also are you going to make the ai a bit smarter for the mod cause that would be great. Tank general is quite stupid.

and vangaurd have u tied a mod swapper to tunr off the mod and on

maybe its just my computer,but at certain times the game crashes,mostly when i'm US Superweapon General,and once as China Tank.

Bug?

My ZH crashes when I play against GLA AI (all of them). I think there is something wrong with them (It's not the new skirmishscript.scb error because I've tested it by putting normal skirmishscript.scb in and play, it crashed too).

Could you do something to fix it?

have you a slow pc
it could becuase u dont have like the error says

overheated hardware trust me it is BOILING IN CHELTENHAM and thats proply why my battlefield 2 anit working

system dosent meet minum spefiacation

to play generals with more then 1 player (comp) the gla requires a bit more proseccing power

The Systems Specs i Reccomend is

2.4 ghz processor
256 mb ram
3.2 gb hard drive space
16 speed xd rom
a good video card at least 64m meg
a good sound card
direct x 8.1
INTERNET
NOT 56 Kps TRUT ME EA LIES
BROADBAND IS RECCOMENDED FOR GOOD PERMORMANCE
AND Yes u need a keyborad and mouse
who on gods earth would play generals with out a mouse

it could be a viruses or spyware they have been known to slow down computors and some times make the programs crash :) :grin: :p

and like ur new moblie barracks vangaurd :umad: :sad:

I'm getting this error which causes ZH to crash...

Reason Error parsing INI file 'Data\INI\Object\americaboats.ini' (Line: 'Object AmericaVehicleCruiser ')

Any ideas on what's going on?

3.0 GHz Pantium 4 CPU
1024 MB DDR RAM
100+ GB of HD
GeForceFX 6600 GT
bla...bla...bla....

Can this mod play with ZH v.1.02?

i have had a bug recently witch has involed he patch fixing the porbelem

what it did was when u didnt have the 1.04 patch
i had with all new maps and the mitla side
SIDE: MISSSING : MITLA right next to the side selcetor



BEFORE you install pr 5.0 u must have to 1.04 patch
Note its the very top 1

this might fix it
it did with me

this is another bug

its with the super weapons gen new firebase
if u click on a dozer then the firebase the firebase thinks its a dozer and it can build buildings but it cant it jsut wont let you


same with the war factory click on it then click on the fire base it thinks it can build tanks but as last time it cant build them

theres an eveac button but it cant be garrasoined
when u force fire it only fires 1 cannon not both

now heres the thing im worried about
for some reason my brain thinks ur gonna say

i didnt add a new firebase so i dont know whata ur on about

and 1 more thing are there any more active beta testers in the fourms that post regaluy except me and bob

Yeah, I know, I need to make a new Commandset for it I'll have that up in the next version, which will be 7.0, I will be making new buildings for this version, meaning Defences for each General, like the Laser General, will have a new Firebase, able to hold 2 infantry, an Anti-Armor Gatling Cannon for the Tank General, a new Partriot for the Airforce General (maybe a new firebase). A Component Tower for the Nuke General (maybe) or a new Gatling Cannon. Demo General will have a nesting site for AA, Anti-Tank guns. A Weaponless tunnel network for the stealth general, a four man Stinger site. Chemical General get's no new Structures. I will also try to implement a contagon for the Chemical General, it would be an upgrade for the Toxin Rebel, giving him toxin bullets, they themselves do no damage, well very little, and the effect lasts untill the infantry dies, then it spreads to another infantry that's near it, and so on for oh say, 2 minutes.

Hi Vanguard,
I would try WorldBuilder but they don't have it for the Mac, and there's a slim chance of it being ported. I'm currently trying to package PR5 for the Mac community (I'm the C&C Generals guy over @ macologist.org) since this looks like a good quality mod.

I've checked out DeeZire's forums for information on INI coding, but I haven't found any info specific to what's happening here, so I'm sorry to say that I don't really know where to start. What are the issues that could cause this type of error? I haven't run into it with other mods we've converted, plus the fact that WB is PC only doesn't help things much. Anyways, if you could give me some pointers I could start going through the INI files to check things out.

Well, I've been able to get it working correctly (for the short time I played). ZH wasn't reading the INI files that I had .big'd, so I had to extract them. Weird. Thanks for you help though. I'll let you know if I run into any more problems.
