i downloaded your mod and after i installed it my generals game doesn't want to run, why is that

Can you explain what exactly you are getting as an error? Did you just install Defcon, or have you now uninstalled it and it won't work? I need a bit more information about your problem.

Make sure you havent got any other Generals Mods installed and make sure Gen is patched to 1.7

Well I instaled it and then when i clicked on the generals icon it loads but then it stops and say there has been an error, is it because i dont have patch 1.7, because I have no other mods

Patch to the most recent version and try again. Beyond that, please check if there are 4-5 files named defcon*.big, and 2 new files in /data/scripts.
