hmm close combat...
you know how the ranger can swich between his assult rife and his flashbang maybe you can do it the same way (marines: bolter/knif) or were you gonna do it this way?

Yea hopefully he'll pull out his knife and not his bolt gun magazine, using the boltgun as a hammer to smash the enemy to bits....come to think of it a boltgun would be quite painful to be smacked with

sm dont need weapons for cc... they're 7 FOOT TALL and covered in inch thick armour... not to mention they are super strong and fast...

basically he'd pick up the filthy heretic/xenos and snap it in half on his knee

no they don't as the filthy Xenos as you call them are sometimes just as big and even well armoured

Tyranids, Orks, Chaos Marines and Necrons...
Tau are a lesser problem, so are Eldar, Dark Eldar and such...

Speaking of the weapon switch code, will you be able to switch types of ammunition with
Missile Launchers and Vanquisher Canons?

Vanquishers aren't in first release.

No Thunderbolts, Vanqs, Vultures, Hellhounds, sentinels, etc etc

3 tanks in first release per faction.

Please see faction specific 'read this first to avoid disappointment'

and no changing ammunition for the missile launchers for first release.

Just after 2 years, I'm paranoid of everyone going...

Honest answer is I have no idea where it'll go from first release, but I do know theres no shortage of ideas or models / skins to increase gameplay in further patches.

We're just trying to get a good solid base to build on. Otherwise people lose motivation and nothing gets released.
