Hmm ok so my models arent amazing most are just reskinned units but heres mine so far:

Dol Amorth Unit (not one of my best):


Elven Mage (first attempt at remoddeling old units!):


None of these are too amazing. I plan to work on them. Ill probally post more later.

They look good but need dirt on the sheilds. They are too monotone hence seem cartoony. Just play with highlights and things become alot more realistic....in a middle earthy way

i think what monkeystone means is that the colors need to be darker, more like other middle-earth things. yes, i realize that is dol amroths colors, but make the sheld blue darker and the yellow more like gold.

remember this model has the uv turned on, way on, so this isnt exactly what it will look like

I guess you should try to see what they look like ingame, it makes a lot of difference in renx and live, in the game.

Theres the majority of my new skins. No models just skins. i have been experimenting just a bit. They seem to have come out nice.

Here is what i think of them:

Pippin is great.
Boromir and Faramir look handsome, but the textures seem to lack in accuracy, the pixels show up a bit too much.
I don't like Eomer a lot (prince of dol amroth?)
Merry looks cool, but the chainmail texture seems a bit over zoomed at.

i got them from a book. Lord of the Rings: Weapons and Warefare. I just took the Textures from the Gondorians section. The pictures are nice and easy to apply to skins. Most of my skins use textures and armors from that book. Its just making them all flow together is the hard part. I just scan textures on and use the assets on the pics and put them into the tga file.

If you think these are copies from dain i can assure you my skins are no where close to his. His are better than mine times 10! Also the plate texture of his gondor soldiers can be found in any gondor soldier pic of the internet. No one can have claims to those. What is in the movies is free game for all.

Holy catfood Batman! You're just churning these out like mad. There's so many of them my crap ass dial-up exploded trying to load them all. I'm amazed at how much you've improved. In response to the redone Pippin: attack of the nipple helmet!! Billy's never gunna get away from that thing.

I'd really like to get my hands on this book of yours. I'm a little tired of sifting through dozens of costume sites to find textures.
